Planning guide
By Warehouse Box Updated
Planning subscription box fulfilment?
Begin with the contents, how the box should be packed and when each cycle ships. We assess every subscription project individually for the UK, Poland for EU orders or New York, so this is what to send us first.
Start with what goes in the box
A box with the same products for every customer is a different job from one with personalised selections or contents that change each month. Share a product list, the quantity of each item per box and any variations.
Include product dimensions, weights and any handling or storage requirements. These help us assess the work and whether the proposed location is suitable.
Show us how it should be packed
A sample box or photographs can show how you want the finished order to look. Include the packaging, inserts and any instructions for arranging, protecting or sealing the contents.
We assess each packing step, who supplies the materials and how the finished box is checked, so the quote covers the actual work.
Plan each dispatch cycle
Tell us whether boxes go out together on a planned date or throughout the month as orders arrive. Include expected volumes, customer destinations and any changes between cycles.
Allow time for the products and packaging to arrive, quantities to be checked and boxes to be packed. We agree dispatch dates once that timetable is clear.
Confirm how orders reach the warehouse
Tell us which store and subscription system you use, and how each delivery becomes an order ready for fulfilment. We’ll check that your system can pass orders and changes to us.
Decide who handles payments, cancellations and skipped deliveries. Agree when address or product changes must reach the warehouse and when each order is ready to be released for packing.
Talk us through your box
Send the contents, a packing example, expected volumes and your preferred location. We’ll come back with any questions and, if we’re a fit, a quote.
