Planning guide

By Warehouse Box Updated

Planning sports and leisure fulfilment?

Sportswear, small accessories and bulky equipment need different storage and delivery arrangements. Here is what to send so we can plan and quote each one from the UK, Poland for EU orders or New York.

List the products and packed sizes

Build a product list showing each code, variation and unit sold. For clothing, include sizes and colours. For accessories or sets, explain which items arrive together and which are stored separately.

Give us the dimensions and weight of each packed product, plus any storage or handling instructions. Flag heavy, oversized, multi-carton items, and items containing batteries, for a specific review before stock is sent.

Show the packing you need

A packing photograph or sample helps explain how the product should reach your customer. Include the outer packaging, protection, supplied instructions and any inserts that belong with the order.

If a product ships in several cartons, identify each one and how they belong together. Assembly, testing, installation and specialist handling need separate assessment before any service is agreed.

Plan the order mix and busy periods

Share a typical online order and any trade orders with different packing or labelling instructions. Include destinations, expected monthly volumes, planned launches and seasonal changes.

Delivery arrangements need to fit the packed size and weight of the goods. Tell us about any delivery appointments or unloading requirements.

Decide what happens when products return

Set out the contents, packaging and condition checks you need when an order comes back. Explain who decides whether the item can return to stock and how missing parts or damage should be reported.

Keep warehouse condition checks separate from technical testing or repair. List any extra work you need so it can be priced in the quotation.

Talk us through your sports products

Send your product list, packed sizes and expected volumes. We’ll reply with any questions and, if we’re a fit, a quote.
